This lovely bar blends the old-fashioned richness of beef tallow with the smoothness of olive oil and the bubbly cleansing power of coconut oil. The mix is just right, so the soap feels gentle but still does a great job — creamy lather, easy rinse, and no dry, tight skin afterward.
I’ve added pure lavender essential oil, which gives it that calm, relaxing scent — floral, a little herbal, a little sweet. Every wash feels like a mini break for your mind. The natural fats and oils also leave your skin soft, nourished, and lightly scented.
In this recipe, I used about 5 grams of lavender oil, but don’t worry about being super precise. Around 5 ml or even 200–250 drops works just fine.
This bar is great for everyday use — hands, body, even face. It has a soft ivory color and a gentle botanical scent that feels simple, rustic, and kind of elegant at the same time. Perfect if you like skincare that’s natural and uncomplicated. And I believe this is a good place to start — you can always swap in different essential oils to make it your own.
